Edgardo Casiguran Ingking. Hewas promoted by Pres Aquino III ith the distinct honor of “One-Star General” after serving the country in various capacities for 30 years. He was a full scholar at the PMA for 4 years. He then went back to PMI and finished Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation and passed the Third mate licensure examination. He finished his Masters in Public Administration at Southwestern University.
He is a product of the Philippine Safety College for his Officer Senior Public Safety Executive Course, where he graduated on top of his class. He finished the Senior Leadsman Course at UP Online University. In 2003, he took the Civil Service Executive Eligibility Examination. Originally commissioned in the Philippine Navy, AFP, he accumulated five years Sea Duty on board 4 Navy, and 2 Coast Guard ships. He was later absorbed by the Philippine National Police and was designated with different positions in Bohol and Cebu and was a UN Police Adviser in Liberia, West Africa. He then requested reassignment in Police Regional Office 7 so he can serve his home province and city. His accomplishments are manifestations of his worth in public service, for which he has been a recipient of many commendations and awards. Wherever he was assigned, he knew he needed the cooperation of the community. Throughout his varied assignments and designations, he has vehemently emphasized that honesty, quality service, dedication, and commitment to one’s duty encompass the avatar of his performance.
