Judge Gabriel T. Ingles

He is the Presiding Judge of the RTC Branch 28, in Cebu City. Gabriel was born to parents Aurelio M. Ingles and Cresencia Torero in Tagbilaran City . Gabriel Ingles had his elementary education at Holy Spirit School where he graduated Salutatorian. He went to the University of San Carlos, Boys High School in Cebu. He studied his junior and senior secondary course at Christ the King Mission Seminary in Quezon City, where he graduated Second Honorable Mention until his tertiary education, making him an SVD Seminarian from first year high school to second year college.

For his third and fourth year he came back to Bohol and enrolled at the Divine Word College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He decided to pursue his graduate course at the University of San Carlos, where for two years he completed all academic requirements for Master of Arts in Philosophy. He was simultaneously teaching in the Philosophy Department of the same University. He then enrolled in the USC College of Law, where he was an academic scholar in his third and fourth years, graduating Cum Laude in 1981. In the same year he took and passed the Bar. With the Head of Stockholm University College of Law, Sweden, he established a student exchange program between the USC College of Law and Stockholm University, which still exists up to the present. Atty. Gabriel Ingles was elected President of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, Cebu City Chapter in 1992-1999. He was Chairman of the IBP Visayas Regional Committee on the Bar Discipline.

He was Vice President of Young Lawyers Association of Cebu, and Founding Member of the Philosophical Association of the Visayas and Mindanao. He is a Past President of the USC College Faculty Association, and DWCT Alumni Association of Cebu. He is also a Supreme Court Accredited Mediator, and Columnist of Cebu Daily News. He is the first Judge and Law Professor in Cebu to be accredited and given the distinct honor.
