Albert finished his BS in Electrical Engineering at the University of Bohol. He started his dedication and leadership right after high school, working in family businesses which have contributed to the local economy and providing employment opportunities for over 70 years. In 1994, Albert with a partner opened the Domestic Sales Agency of Philippine Airlines in Bohol collaborating with the government to extend the runway allowing bigger planes to land at the city airport. This boosted the tourism industry in Bohol with the first international flight in 2017 connecting the province to South Korea.
Among his projects with various organizations are mangrove planting and artificial reef creation, funding for pipelaying and water provision in an island, and school building projects across the province. With the natural disasters and the pandemic, Albert as an active President and member to organizations, he collaborated with LGUs and industry stakeholders to attract new investors revitalizing Bohol’s economic prospects. He also played a crucial role in the private sector’s vaccination rollout and led donation distribution efforts during calamities. His family also invested the first IT Park in Bohol providing more than 1500 jobs to Boholanos.
Being the recent Regional Director of Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, he collaborates and coordinates with Chamber leaders in the country to develop and implement strategic plans to increase business efficiency. Being a visionary leader and dedicated community servant, Albert has significantly shaped the landscape of Bohol leaving an indelible mark on its people and economy. His multifaceted contributions span business, aviation, community service, and regional leadership. His tireless efforts have positively impacted the lives of Boholanos all over the world.
