Prof. Leo is a prolific and protean Boholano visual artist credited with national and international solo and group shows and exhibitions. He is a graphic artist, curator, exhibition writer, film/video director, theatrical and set designer, who has reaped numerous awards from critics and the industry. As a student at UP Diliman, he has received awards and his works were purchased and displayed locally and internationally.

As a professor, he has also received awards from the State University. He expanded his practice by venturing into film writing and directing, like “Instant Mommy” which a finalist at the Cinemalaya Phil. Independent Film Festival which was exhibited at International Festivals in Dubai, Hawaii, Taipei, Bangkok, and Japan. He has been an art educator at UP Diliman for 17 years and served as a juror to prestigious nationwide competitions. He has designed seminar workshops in film design for ABS-CBN and NGOs. He has shared gratis his designs to community outreach projects of the Bohol Provincial Government for proper garbage disposal and a consultant to projects like Intramuros Light and Sound Museum and a support to the Art House for Comfort Foundation.
